                                                              MOZART!

BEWDLEY CHORAL SOCIETY & STOURPORT CHORAL

Saturday 20th May 2017

7.30 p.m.

This concert brings together for the first time two local choirs under the direction of Alastair Elliott.

The concert fulfils a dream for Alastair, who has long wanted to combine the two groups to perform a major choral work requiring larger orchestral and vocal forces. The choirs will together assemble 100 voices, with their strengths perfectly complementing one another.

The major focus of the all-Mozart programme will be the famous Requiem, featuring local professional soloists in addition to the choirs.  The highlight of the first half will be the well-known 20th Piano Concerto performed by local pianist: Angie Allard.

Supporting the Mayor of Stourport's Charity the choir will be performing Favourite showtunes and Music from the 60's

at The Civic Hall Stourport on Friday 13th of January 2017
